Immediately after gaining independence, our rich spiritual heritage, national values, including the history of our great-grandfather Amir Temur and the Temurids are deeply studied. More than thousand books on Amir Temur's heritage have been written in European and Oriental languages, numerous illustrations have been done. Amir Temur inherited not only great Sultanate but also good traditions to his descendants. All Temurids continued Amir Temur's work in the field of prosperity, justice management, science, culture and art.
There was a period of development in all spheres of political, economic, cultural and spiritual life during reign time of Amir Temur and the Temurids, that is recalled in the world as the Temurid Renaissance.
One of the events suitable to aforementioned idea is the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference named «The universal importance of studying and promoting the development of science and culture in the Temurid period» on the 23rd Anniversary of the Establishment of the State Museum of Temurid History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan on October 18, 2011.
Director of the State Museum of the Temurids History of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Ph.D. K.T.Fayziev opened the conference with a preface. Well-known scientists and writers of our country participated in the plenary session of the conference.
After the plenary session, the conference continued the meeting dividing into small groups on the topics “Written legasy of the Temurid Period: Source and History study issues”, “State and Public Administration: Architectural and Creative Works; military-political and socio-economic reforms” and “Renaissance of the Temurid period: problems of science and culture, museum studies”.
